MEET THE TEAM

Nigel (a born engineer) founded Alpha in 1984 as a HVAC install business, he has years of onsite install experience.

His passions away from work involve spending time with his family and grandchildren, Nandos, charity work, and he also enjoys long walks in the Kent countryside.

Nigel's specialties include finance, IT, leadership, and engineering.

Yarl started here in 2000, working within operations and quickly moved up the ranks. Today he is our Managing Director.

Away from work, Yarl likes to spend time with his family and travel the world. He is well known for being a foodie.

Yarl specialises in sales and marketing but also has a wealth of experience in business management. Some of his skills include HR, IT, coding, creative design, engineering and many others.

Karen keeps the books here at Alpha, a vital role that requires an intimate love of numbers. Along with numbers, Karen deals with HR duties within Alpha which means she plays a vital role across all areas of our business.

When she’s not at work she attends to her children and loves football.

Scott joined us in November 2023 and brings a wealth of experience to our team, having spent the past seven years honing his expertise in procurement and supply chain management across diverse commercial industries. With a passion for optimising supply chains and driving operational efficiencies, Scott is a valuable asset to our team.

Outside of work, Scott is an avid rugby enthusiast and enjoys adrenaline-pumping activities involving sports cars and motorbikes. When seeking a moment of relaxation, he can be found savoring a refreshing beer!

Alex joined our Procurement department in September 2023, following 6 months travelling around South East Asia. With a background in the IT sector, Alex began his career as an apprentice, progressing to the position of Supply Chain Coordinator.

In his spare time he plays football for two local clubs and enjoys weekends out with friends and playing playing poker.

Sam has been with us since 2011, working as a Key Account Manager and has extensive knowledge of the HVAC industry and supplies.

Away from the office, Sam is a big football fan, and he loves his steak and family.

Andrew is a keen believer in setting personal goals and will always find a way to achieve what he sets out to do.

Ultimate happiness is achieved by spending time in a fast-flowing river or up a mountain.

Sarah joined in May 2021 as part of the customer service team. Her role now involves doing what she does best... talking to new and current customers, working with them to understand their needs, and assisting with their workflow.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, and her passion is cooking and baking - which makes her very popular when it comes to celebrations!

Stacey joined us in February 2024 and has been in the customer service industry for over 10 years. Speaking and helping customers is what Stacey loves to do. In her spare time, Stacey enjoys spending time with her daughter, seeking local adventures and taking sunny holidays.

Salina joined us in February 2024

Tiago started his journey with Alpha in winter 2024

Erin initially worked for Alpha from 2015-19 and has now rejoined as our Marketing Executive!

In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and friends, keeping up to date with the latest series, and planning her next trip!

Kayleigh has remained in close contact with Alpha since joining the team on a freelance basis for a period back in 2015, to work on the Alpha Catalogue.

In January 2023, she became a permanent member of the team, bringing a variety of marketing communications expertise acquired through working for a range of product and service-based businesses.

Rebecca joined us in March 2024

Tony is part of our dedicated warehouse team. Overseeing facilities and managing the yard.

Euan is part of our dedicated warehouse team. Overseeing order fulfilments and stock management.

Luc joined us as a warehouse operative, and now works in stock control.

Daniel is our delivery driver, responsible for collecting HVAC goods from our warehouse in Five Oak Green and safely delivering them with a smile to our clients nationwide.
